Leroy Merlin is a chain of stores selling building, finishing, decorating, gardening and DIY materials. It was founded in France in 1923 by Adolphe Leroy and Rose Merlin.

In addition to its base in France, the network is also present in 12 other countries: South Africa, Brazil, Cyprus, Spain, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. In Brazil, Leroy Merlin has been around since 1998, with its first store founded in SĆ£o Paulo, in the Interlagos neighborhood, in the southern zone of the capital.
