If you are looking for an opportunity in the job market.

You should know that the Sírio Libanês Hospital is always offering job opportunities in various areas.

History of the hospital

Conceived in the early 1920s, the Sírio Libanês Hospital was initially a charitable group of ladies who were part of the Lebanese community in the city of São Paulo. With the intention of repaying the warmth with which the city welcomed the community, led by Dona Adma Jafet, the group of friends decided to found the Ladies' Benevolent Society, which, with the support of businessmen from the capital of São Paulo, began building the hospital in 1931, but its progress was interrupted during the tensions of World War II, with construction only resuming in 1959, under the leadership of Dona Adma's daughter. The hospital was finally inaugurated on August 15, 1965.

Since then, the hospital has been a benchmark for care and attention to the population and society in its various areas of activity.

The hospital's area of activity.

Operating in the public-private system and also in partnership with the Unified Health System (SUS), the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital is not just an integrated treatment center, but a complete entity that aims to provide health care in an efficient and humanized way to all social classes, so that all its activities and projects, especially pediatrics, have a vision of social responsibility in mind, acting in the management of health services throughout the state of São Paulo, always seeking excellence in free care for citizens.

The Menino Jesus Children's Hospital in Bela Vista is a case in point. With an average of 74,000 consultations and 4,000 surgeries a year.

The Grajaú General Hospital, on the south side of São Paulo, has around 316,000 visits and 17,000 hospitalizations a year.

It's also worth remembering that the Sírio Libanês Hospital also runs a social pediatrics outpatient clinic and a well-known project: the Abrace Seu Bairro (Embrace Your Neighborhood) Project serves more than 4,000 people, who are directly benefited by these and 5 other projects, which provide a healthier life for residents of the Bela Vista neighborhood in São Paulo.
