About Capgemini

It is a French multinational company and one of the world's largest providers of technology, consulting and outsourcing services. It employs more than 300,000 professionals in over 40 countries and had global revenues of 13.2 billion euros in 2018. The company's history begins in 1997, when it first acquired GeslĆ³gica, a small software company that was a benchmark in the national market, responsible for important technical consultancy projects developed for large national banks. The company's current structure is the result of the merger with Ernst & Young Consulting International in 2000.

The merger was also an opportunity to integrate Gemini Consulting Portugal, whose business sector is now part of the Consulting Services discipline. As a result of this consolidation move, in 2001 it moved to the Miraflores address in Torre de Monsanto, with new, modern premises. In 2009, the company moved again, this time to the 10th floor of Colombo's Torre Oriente. Who follows Francisco Duarte, who has been leading the fortunes of this multinational for around three years. Paulo Morgado was Managing Director of Capgemini Portugal from 2004 to 2014, a position held by Jorge Martins from 2014 to 2017. Currently, as of July 2018, the position of CFO has changed again, and is now held by Cristina Castanheira Rodrigues.

In Brazil, it is based in the cities of Blumenau, Barueri, Rio de Janeiro, Campinas, Poro Alegre, Araraquara, Belo Horizonte, BrasĆlia and Salvador. It also serves companies in various sectors, such as telecommunications, financial services, retail, insurance, etc. In addition, it works with its customers to create and deliver business, technology and digital solutions that meet their needs, enabling them to innovate and compete. As an inherently multicultural company, it has developed its own way of working, the Collaborative Business ExperienceTM, based on its global delivery model, Rightshore. In September 2010, it announced the acquisition of 55% of the share capital of CPM Braxis. The agreement gives the company the right to buy the remaining shares in the company. On Brazilian soil, the company tends to gain ground, competing with Indra, IBM, TCS, Accenture, TIVIT and others.
