About Cocamar
It was founded in 1963. In 1967, diversification began with cotton. In 1972, the first V-shaped granary was built in Paraná. 1975 saw the beginning of the unit's expansion in the area. In 1979, the first soybean meal and oil production unit in the state of Paraná was inaugurated.
In 1989, a new phase began when Luiz Lourenço, then Director of Commercialization and Industrialization, was promoted to President. Before that, there were several industrial units: ground coffee, soybean oil and meal, roasting, cottonseed oil production, silk spinning, refining, cotton spinning and vegetable oil packaging. In 1992 it became one of the country's pioneers in outsourcing services.
In 1993, it entered the wine business. 1995/96 Successfully developed a comprehensive program to restructure its debt.
